Born: November 17, 1966 (yes this makes me old)
Name: Jeff Davidson
Location: San Diego, CA
The personal side of me
This is something I dont talk about much but her it goes.....Once upon a time....Well born and raised here in San Diego I led an active life early on, speed skating, scuba diving, rock climbing, hiking I enjoyed being active. Married once and have a great son from that sour relationship. He lives with me and we have a great time together. Met my future second wife along with her daughter about 10 years ago, been living together since (life with an instant teenager is fun) and now have a 3yo daughter with her (and she is an amazing little creature that continues to bring me delight daily).
I dabbled with photography off and on since HS. Took a class in college (hated it) devoloped my own film on the base photolab (yes 8 years marines) and finally when taking photos of my son playing baseball I moved into it more full time and started my sports photography business. Almost every weekend of the year I will be out shooting baseball, soccer, or football and have done quite well (its what has paid for all my gear). Couple years ago, against advice of some phtographers I know
I converted my garage into a small studio that has worked well over the past year, but with the ever increaseing suppy of props I am taking the last part of 'garage' and creating more storage space and a dressing room. Look forward to one day have my own commercial space and be doing this fulltime!
Oh and I guess you wonder where 'Cosmic Frog' came from? Well quite simply in High School I was the breast stroker on the swim team (yes it is a swim stroke!) which looked like a frog. I was also in the water so much, pool or beach, that my hair and bloodshot eyes left me looking 'Cosmic' and it sort of stuck with me for life

Styles
Don't know if I have a particular style in my art shooting. It shows that I like to shoot high key. To me simple is sometimes the best and can bring out the beauty the best in almost anyone. I do have a fascination for the darkside as well and enjoy shooting the goth styles and like to expirment and the lighting in this arena. On the other hand I also enjoy the brightness of retro and rockabilly style. My next step is to get more creative in set design and props, doing more of a theme and taking the time to plot out a shoot. Have many ideas just need to get the time now to build things. And of course there is the nude form, which can be shot in any of these styles. Just started in this realm last year and hope to take it to new levels.

Also, interesting to know that you were born in 66...I was born in 71, and I assumed that you were about my age(you seem young). Anyhoo, as always, love your stuff!
