High Key Set Up

Been getting requests for setups. This is my typical set up for High-Key. If its a white background, most likely this is it.

The soft box to the left is on a photogenic studio max. It has a dial setting so this is typically my fill. With the dial it is easy to adjust and play with to vary the fill and bring a bit of shadow in the set up.

Umbrellas in the back are aimed at the background and set generally at 466-500ws. Height varies according to subject, postition and pose but almost always aiming slightly downward and slightly inward to center.
Subject needs to be in front of the umbrellas enough as to not get to much if any spillage of light on them (I sometimes like a little) You can also use foamcore boards to block the spillage.

Sometimes the Ocoto on the right will be brought to direct front and center and I will shoot from under it.
